In 2012, the 30-year anniversary of the world’s governments assembling at the Brighton Hilton to vote for the historic commercial whaling moratorium, we recreated through art and advocacy the gathering of protestors on the Brighton seafront back then. It included a large-scale mural opposite the hotel.
The WhaleFest event eventually lead to the formation of a global alliance of whale and dolphin organisations, the World Cetacean Alliance.
The ‘Save the Whales: Reloaded’ movement also found voice in a memorable evening gig at The Old Market Theatre
